암세포의 특성을 규명하고 정밀 치료 전략을 제시하다

Identifying cancer cell-specific features to inform precision therapies

 우리 연구실은 암 생물학에 대한 심층적인 이해를 바탕으로 
암의 예방 및 치료에 활용 가능한
정밀 치료 전략의 탐색과 제시를 목표로 하고 있습니다.

​

 이를 위해 기초 암 생물학 연구와 치료 응용 전략을
유기적으로 통합하는 다학제적 접근을 통해
암세포의 고유한 분자적 및 세포적 특성과 이를 기반으로 한
치료 가능한 약점(vulnerabilities)을 규명하고자 합니다.

 Our laboratory aims to advance the understanding of cancer biology
to explore and propose precision therapeutic strategies
for cancer prevention and treatment.

 

 To this end, we take a multidisciplinary approach
that integrates basic cancer biology with translational research,
with a focus on identifying the unique molecular and cellular characteristics
of cancer cells and uncovering their therapeutically exploitable vulnerabilities.
